Health Challenge #9: Vanilla, Cinnamon Sesame Mylk
1 cup Raw sesame seeds (Soak seeds over night or for a day or so)
2-3 Dates soaked
3 cups Water, including water the dates were soaking in!
Dash of Cinnamon, Cardamom and Vanilla with a pinch of sea salt
Blend sesame seeds with no water in blender so they form a paste. Add the water the dates were soaking in, plus the remaining amount of water to make 3 cups liquid, add the spices, touch of sea salt, 3 dates or so, blend till smooth and enjoy.
Sesame Seeds are packed full of Calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron!!! This nourishing and delicious drink is an amazing option when trying to stop drinking coffee.
Try toasting the sesame seeds to get a roasted flavor.
