Health Challenge #10: Make a date with a friend
Friendship and connection are so very important to living a Spritfull life! Did you know that people who have a strong support network around them actually have a significantly lower chance of getting cardiovascular disease? It’s been scientifically proven the more you connect and have the support of loved ones around you the greater your health will be!! Isn’t that amazing?! I like to think that love and friendships are vital nutrients as well! It’s easy to get caught up in work and life making little time for fun or connecting with friends. It’s something I struggle with being a mom, an entrepreneur with 2 jobs and a wife to be, life is full. How do you find time for it all? It comes down to making fun a priority and making the time for your friends. My challenge for you today is call a friend and make a date to hang out. When you hang out TURN OFF YOUR PHONE! Be present, listen, connect and embrace the love that surrounds you. Do this at least once a week and feel how your heart begins to feel! Connection is the key!
